Machineflesh 2D Challenge Entry: Mike Phillips
The contrast and color look good on my machines here… is there any way to standardize settings on a monitor that will closely resemble factory settings of most monitors?? Any advice would be appreciated it.
thanks
Glad you like it Newone, and thanks for checking it out and replying!
have a good one and good luck!
MIke
Great idea and great character…I’m unfortunately one of those who went forwards in time and by the time I came up with a more woody / organic concept I was too far along, so congratulations on coming up with something which stands out.
Lovely style and you really get a sense of the size and weight of the beast in your final.
Congratulations and Good Luck!!!

MrFreeman,
thanks for the comments! Glad you like him. I noticed alot of entries that were going forward in time, futuristic, high tech (so to speak) so I decided to kinda go “low tech”, almost back in time.
I really apreciate your comments! thanks very much.
Hiya man. I like low tech too! Its a really nice revisit back to ancient times. hehe Looking very solid and has a nice feel to him. Could pass off as a warcraft character dude hehe
Hey man!
thanks for the comments. I checked out your entry, great to see the work from start to finish, great job… I wish I had the time to do my character in 3d :). I wish.
anyways, thanks for taking the time to comment, and good luck!
Mike

Hey Mike …
First of all i wanna encourage u , u have a Very Good Potencial
i like the way u present the concept and i believe u r on the right track
i just want to grab ur attention to consider studying a bit of Body Perespective , it will help u so much to make the action of the figure look Clearer ,though u are very good at giving the right Impression
Good Luck
