This is actually my line art too. I tend to do all of my work in painter. I though it would be cool to illustrate an old concept of mine. He is sort of an old forgotten tool of torture. Cast aside, residing in his piles of trash and other discarded element. Out of necessity, he began making self modifications, adding pieces from his victims to his arsenal.

Nice lighting and color. Your forms look very believable as if you mocked something up in 3D first.

'Looking forward to seeing your progress.

#4

Hey… sorry,
I didn’t really make my process clear. This IS a start from scratch. I do all of my work in painter, I rairly ever do a line drawing first. This is actually a first study for the character design, I will be uploading a series of studies that I will derive the final composition from. The final probably won’t look anything like this first one. This is just meant for now, as an introduction to the basic character design. I will post WIP of the actual painter file as I finish the final but until I really get to know my character better, I am doing fast desgin studies like my first post.

sorry about not being clear, my process is a little wierd.
thanks for all the comments so far, I will be posting a few new studies sometime today.

this is another idea I had for the head assembly for my character. I am not sure how I feel about this one.

#11

Just playing around with scale and orientation. I am still deciding on how deep I want his “face” to be sunken into his torso mass.

#12

just another quick concept sketch.

Hey man,

No offese taken!! sorry about that. I just wanted to explain my process a bit. I have a tendency to get cought in my head alot and I tend to forget that people can't read my mind. Thanks so far for all the great responses. I really appreciate all the compliments!

 :bounce:

Cheers!

So cool to see all the inspirational talent out there! Canit wait to see all the final entries.

This is a new direction for me. I thought it might be cool to have a machine that adorned itself with human flesh for "cosmetic" reasons. This guy it a trader of flesh wrappings, in his wierd world.
