Perfectly. Thanks.

The control in your values is absolutely insane. Had to subscribe to this thread.

harnelbe: Thank you for your kind comments. Sometimes I choose to only sketch out the most important elements in a design and worry about them when I get there usually as I progress with rendering the illustration. This way I add details at that perticulair moment. It ususally feels right when I do it. Yes you are right about the gun. Its perspective is messed up as we should be looking a bit from the bottom. I already made notes to corect that when I do the good version. I’ll probably do a mock-up of the gun in 3d and set it up for refrence to corectly fix the perspective problem. I hope I answered your your question and adressed your comment.

Empy: Thank you friend. Thats the reason I draw. The stuf I create makes me feel like a kid too.

Quizboy: I know you’d like to see more than one rider on this creature, and because it would give valid reason why all theese muscles. But my intent was to have it carry a single person. Its not that the creature can’t handle two or more people, because it can its just that the size I imagined would only allow one saddle or enough equipment for one person comfortably. (please read on I’ll explain the validity of all the muscles below). Sorry maybe another time Quizboy

js rolhion, Ravendsg, riki, Russel_Nash, tungaunga, Nov@: thank you guys for your kind comments, its super nice to hear! I want to get drunk with al you you ! (shit! it won’t allow me tu put anither smiley) CHEERS!

cgg: Thank man. If you’re serious enough e-mail me and we’ll talk.

markw7: Was the equipment in lets say starwars any cost effective??? I’m not sure. The only way I can answer your question is that this creaturer can live upto 700 years, all it needs is some chemicals and hormones to live, and has a much much higher capebility than a humvee to sniff out any intruders, it could also climb terrain with the help of its hooks with in its hooves that a humvee couldn’t tackle (unless it was the humvee from the simpsons that Mcvain drove  ) …good points though!

Ok. well here is the somewhat finished piece of my Machineflrsh creature concept. I’ll redo the saddle part next and build-in the stabilizer for the gun within the creatures hips. anyways I’m uploading a higher rez pic for your enjoyment. Peace!

#85

Exquisite (best word I could think of) rendering. What was the total time it took you? (approx)

Just cleaned some space on the wall above my monitor, hehe.

Just awesome dude! wow factor is 100%!

#91

Awesome, man… I don’t really have anything too helpful to say  Something about the ballance of the creature though… looks like its center of gravity is in its shoulder and it might fall forward. I’m just nitpicking 'cause I’m jealous

Can’t wait to see what you post next, man.

Nothing more to say:beer:

that’s just amazing. awesome anatomy and shading! good luck with the environment!

#94

Hey dude,

Have been watching, had to say this is very impressive. Inspiring stuff indeed. Cant wait to see the end result.

Hey here I’m very impressed with your work and hope this gets the top spot…

but here is one crit…I grew up on a horse ranch so I’ve watched alot of movment of large four legged creatures.

I did notice that the right front leg looks abit out of place.

with the rear being so far forward the front right would most likely also be more so to the front as well.

It's a silly thing really I just thought I'd through it out to you.

it by no means takes away from the great skill you have…

I’ll look forward to more.

would be curious to know how you hold your concentration while shading like that, this would have driven me insane.

That’s just it crazybread. if you make a place for two, or even more people - like 10 is my suggestion, the creature would automatically be bigger. it would be huge by virtue of reference to the smaller-sized saddles, which right now its musculature suggests. Also that would justify the need for so much machinework… [/B]

Thats the feeling I got from looking at this, that it was a big huge creature,I was thinking cut the saddle in half, have a middle part extruding up from the middle of the saddle(second seat) erase the gun(sorry I know it probably took ages to do that) and then draw in the gun to suit smaller people, but at the same time this is your idea and at the end of the day it is up to you.
Anyway love the work you are doing it really makes me want to go back to my days in school when all I wanted to do was draw, thanks for that!

Coool… I think I’m in love. (Not with you silly, with the big smelly beast thing)

The front hoofs are a bit awkwardly positioned. The further back one needs to be more to the front. It’s growing out of the things stomach right now.

Can’t wait for colors.

#99

Looks really good so far! I think it will look even cooler if you compose more of this beast into an army as they set off to war (together with other machineflesh creations of your own, if you like)! Oh yes, adding a wicked war-torn background will definetely do your work some justice!
