Machineflesh 2D Challenge Entry: Daryl Mandryk
‘Machine-hunter’ - coloring WIP
Had a couple hours last night so I thought I’d try and hit my next milestone upload. Things are starting to come together at this point a bit, but there is still lots of work yet left to do. This is also the stage where I try to make final decisions on poses and compostion (although I guess nothings ever final until the end). I also throw some big colors down to describe the mood, and try to lay a bit of texture in. At this point I’m not too worried about details, but I’ll punch up a few areas just for the heck of it. All the detailing and uprezzing will be done in the next stage.
Thanks for all the feedback peeps.

Hey, that’s unfair !!! I’ve had the same idea before you ! LOL
But you’ve got a better drawing style and composotion than mine.
Very impressive !
Keep it up ! :applause:

Wow, I missed your last entry yesterday (I’m speaking of the coloring wip
, despite the wired-hair girl is unbelievable too lol ).
Simply excellent, amazing dynamism… And the Frazetta touch I always loved… Keep it up!! ![]()
Good luck!!
Awesome dude!!! I love the way of your workflow:thumbsup:
I really learn alot when I watch your way of working from sketch to final!!!
WIP update. Working on this thing in between other things since the deadline is sooooo far away. I’ll probably take some time of and come back and finish it off.

Great stuff, man :buttrock:
Good to see some action packed stuff with all of these static images the rest of us are making
Looking quite good. You work very fast. Nice lights and darks going on there. The guy with the gun looks screwed, hehe. I think you can go in and define him a bit more, but great job on this so far!
