#41

thanks for the comments  I appreciate
just finished the lineart of the cat… 2 more characters to go

#42

Hey i really like your style.

What do you use for the outline?

Congratulations.

Felicidades.

#43

Thanks

90% of the lineart was made with a default hard brush, and 10% vectorial for the larger areas like the stomach, feet, tail, it’s easier to keep the stroke regular…

#44

I love the cartoon style! all the characters are cool :applause:

What have you thought about the background?

#45

Hiya,

I like the posing its very Charlies Angels…

When pets go wild and kick ass…

looking forward to colour.

#46

Ok i’m finally done with the bunny… One more to go…

#47

element5: thanks

adrixwha: thank you  I did not think about the background yet, maybe i’ll do something simple, or maybe something like an apocalyptical city environment… Anyway thanks for reminding me about the bg, I should think about it before starting coloring, especially for the lighting…

You’re one of my top3 ( or 4 :stuck_out_tongue: ).
Your characters are great.
If I may give you my opinion , a background would be good (and great lightning).
Most of your other challenge’s camarade will have strong atmospheres in their images.
And having just the characters , even if they have strong personnality, seems like ā€œemptyā€ or ā€œlightā€ to me , if no environment.
I don’t want to be rude.
(I 'm not even in the competition !)
Just my opinion.
So if you want to compete…

:wip: to reach the top !

#49

Love it man. Your lineart is so smooth. Are you using a digital program to ā€œinkā€ the drawing or are you going traditional?

Anyway I think these characters are awesome. Can’t wait to see it with colour and a background.

#50

Great job until now!!! Keep up!

#51

Cool!
Reminds me of JazzJackRabbit.

#52

I did some modifications to the panda, I didn’t like how the old one integrated in the pic… his shoulders were too large, and he looked too symmetrical… he contrasted with the 2 other characters. let me know what you think about this one

#53

is.it.living: Thanks  I completely agree with you, even if the background is not required, I think it will definately play a role in the mood (especially the lighting), and the rendering will also look better than a normal lighting… I just have to find some ideas

cuppacam: Thanks! I’m using photoshop for the inking. Default hard brush and eraser, and lots of CTRL-Z

BloodTaster & MorteR: Thank you guys for your support

#54

disturbing but cute. R you planning on painting realistically or cartoonish too?

#55

Diggin the bunny:thumbsup:

#56

Its cool to see something comic, and different from the realistic that so many other artists have adopted. U’ve suceeded in giving personality to u’re characters. Keep it up.

#57

I just realized that there is smething like 1 week left for the challenge  Haven’t updated this thread for a while, but I’m still planning to finish this illustartion before deadline. Maybe I’ll get rid of the panda…
c&c welcome

#58

Very good coloring ! And the posture of the animal is very cool, like some sort of super hero or secret agent. Great ! :buttrock:
