thanks for your comments

duddlebug: I agree, they need more mechanical parts… I tried experimenting more the characters, pose and proportions before adding all the mech stuff

crazybread: I’m experimenting the fisheye, but it doesn’t come up right… I’ve not yet decided with which concept to go on, but I still have plenty of time

Franky_mo: thanks

Here is another bunny concept:

It is so nice to see your work cause it is so different from the norm, exellent style.

good luck

Cool pics!

Like the cartoon style stuff. Nice and differant.

Love the bunny! maybe only have the one leg robotic (lucky rabit foot and all)

Well it looks cool

#25

I think getting the character right is important. Especially on this challenge. It’d be easy to get bogged down in mechanical detail and not develop the character(s) fully. Detail and the nitty-gritty of the mechanics can come later.

And as you’ve said…we’ve got plenty of time!! for now!!

And it’s great that you’ve continued with the cartoon style…

Tommy Lee, dloots, SigFire: Thanks  Stay tuned!

duddlebug: That’s right  And I prefer goin on with characters which are fun to paint… To be honest, painting all the knobs and stuff of the DJ would have made me sick

I’m now working on the composition… Trying to figure out how and where to put the big bear (I’m thinking about switching the bear with a panda).

here’s the composition i’m planning to go on with  I’ll start the lineart tomorrow, if you have any suggestion or if there’s something to change, I’d be glad to hear it! thanks

#29

Very dynamic compo !

Very funny style

It could be a good start for a jack&daxter like videogame, I think

#30

you must have been sitting in a cup of soul, you got some nice shapes here, no crit just waiting to see the outcome, keep it greazy…

#31

i like your bunny alot, cant think of anything wrong with it, its perfect, it is a cooler idea than the dj as well…

:bounce:

#32

Thanks for your comments

I started fine tuning the sketch, to get a better idea of the details before really starting the lineart… here’s how the cat should look like

#34
