Hello everyone :slight_smile:
First of all, good luck to all of you :slight_smile:
Here’s my first concept sketch. I’m planning to do a mechanically enhanced DJ, with (removable) connections from his head directly to beatboxes, effects, synths etc for live performance :slight_smile:
Added him 2 extra robot arms too, for 3 decks mixing.
Now let’s get back to work… :slight_smile:

Some more mechanical sketches, I rarely draw robotish stuff so I have to practise and experiment…
I think i’ll look after some robot reference material to see the actual mechanism of robotic arms, my sketches are only based on suppositions… and I feel a lot is missing :slight_smile:

I’m thinking about completely changing the subject, doing something more cartoony :slight_smile: here’s a robotized bunny (I still have to add some more mechanical parts), I’m thinking of doing 2 or 3 characters, something like a ‘special secret forces squad’ from the year 2984 :slight_smile: let me know what you think :slight_smile:

when I saw your dj sketch I thaught that thats a cool idea and wished if you were to go ahead with it that you draw it as looking through a mad fisheye lens, you know all extra distorted. Then I came back and saw your robotized bunny, and I must say I like him more. I looking forward to seeing more of him! (love the bear too! perhaps you can do a squad or something .:bounce:
