LW8, copy, past, cut? anything but clone

Ok little lost of LW8 Molder copy function?

I see the clone, and clone to layer, but I would like to copy & past layer(s) to a new object.

any help?

nevermind, found answer, its ctrl+c

You mean something other than ctrl+c and ctrl+v?

  • Select the visible layers you want.
  • Control + c
  • File/New Object
  • Control + v

The downside is it copies the flattened object, as opposed to having one with layers. Not sure if that’s what you want or not.
