lost shorkeys

#1

Excuse my bad english.

That’s my problem. In some moments, the shortkeys “e”, “v”, “f” and “b” (select/edge; select/vertex; select/face; select object) dont work (except by mouse action on the icons). I still dont understand which moments are these… Other shortkeys like “s” (smooth), “c” (cut) dont work too.

In these cases, i save my work, close the program and logoff windows 2K. :thumbsdow Then, i logon at windows, open wings and the problem has disapeared…

What can be happening??? In which situation, the shortkeys above dont work???

thanks

Are you absolutely sure that you didnt accidently press CapsLock while this happened, all hotkeys are casesensitive. Good luck!

I’ve never heard of this problem before so I can’t help much sorry! If all else fails you can move your prefs file to a new location and Wings will create a new one with all the dfault settings, that might help. Otherwise trash EVERYTHING and reinstall.
Make absolutely certain that it’s not operator error though! :o)
