Hi all,
I followed this tutorial on disintegrating geometry and have run into some trouble

After the particles hit the deflector they turn gray and lose their color, I see there’s some discussion of needing Box 3 to make that part work (which I dont have) but I dont get an error message so im not sure if thats even the problem, also the Box 3 workaround script link is dead so I can’t try that. Anyway I’ve been wrangling with this for a while and would appreciate any help on the issue (should there be some kind of material operator in the post-collision event?) Im using 3ds Max 2010.
