Hey all,
I made a flame and smoke in fumefx and applied a shadow matte to a plane below it to recieve shadows (its a camera tracked scene with a video as the environment) anyway when in orthographic or perspective views the shadow casts nicely etc but when I switch to a camera (or turn a perspective view into one) I lose the shadow. Im using a directional light with atmosphere shadows checked (also added to fumefx illum parameters), Ive tried both raytraced and shadow map, scanline and mental ray… but its always the same if I render with a camera no shadow but if I use perspective I do get shadows.
Any ideas what could be causing this?
