Anyone interested in a lighter? I work in Maya (my personal copy is Maya 2008) and 3D Studio Max, along with the other nuts and bolts (Adobe products and such).
I’m interested in finding a group to work with. Have finished my BA in Animation. Im stronger in enviornment modelling, but I can do some basic rigging, lighting, etc.
I’m looking for some people familar with Adobe’s stuff as I’m looking for a more cel animated anime type of style for my 30 seconds.
Some people I could talk Illustrator Flash and PS with as there are some workflow issues.
On the other side my native environment is Lightwave but there are always export options and MAX seems to have pretty good renders. Anyone whos into landscapes and has some traditional animation under the belt…

I am thinking about buying this large lego looking star wars storm trooper figure and I want to know if anyone has seen it before or bought it before? I would also like to know if anyone has ever bought anything from this company’s website. This aint no lego minifig this thing is one of the largest looking lego figures I have ever seen. There is no manufacture listed for this toy storm trooper. I really like the thing but I am not sure about buying from a company over seas in China. They look like a reputable company but I would feel better if I knew some one who has bought from them before. I can’t find this collectible star wars figure anywhere else on the net and I really want it. I wasn’t able to submit my work in progress. Whenever i click on the submit entry i get this annoying window that pops up asking username and password. When i supply it says wrong password. This is after login into the site.
Is there something wrong?

I am self employed, and have considerable free time. Concept, illustration and modeling. Primarily ZBrush3 and Maya (6.5) for the 3d. But I will be using Softimage and ZBrush for this contest. I just finished illustrating 90 cards for a Steam-punk game, so it’s fresh in my noodle. I can send work samples but I don’t have much in my online portfolio, at this time.
