I’m a student animator looking for a couple illustrated human anatomy books, particularly with an emphasis on muscular structures. Does anyone have any good suggestions? I’m not really looking for any online resources, I would prefer books. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Looking for good anatomy books
cg_joe,
Hey there, we have the following thread, which should be quite useful:
REFERENCE BOOKS FOR ARTISTIC ANATOMY AND FIGURATIVE DRAWING:
[left]These are all great books. I recommend highly “Artistic Anatomy” and “Atlas of Human Anatomy for the Artist”, though any and all of these books are great!
Cheers,

Rebeccak,
Sorry about missing that previous thread. :banghead:
Thanks a bunch for the recomendations.
cg_joe,
No worries!
With the default settings, this thread doesn’t even show up, because it hasn’t received a post in a while ~ you’d have things up to show all threads from the last year in order to see it.
A useful feature is “Search” ~ we pretty much have a thread here for anything Anatomy~related you can think of, so feel free to run a search or PM me if you don’t know where to find something.
Glad to be of help!
Cheers,
~Rebeccak
This is an amazing book!

also gives you name of every muscle in your body!
rblitz7,
I completely agree!
I have that book listed (but not linked as you have)
on this thread:
Anatomy Resources : BOOKS
Definitely check it out for more great Reference books!
Cheers,
~Rebeccak
