Hi,

This is just a short character animation. I’d love to hear what you liked about it and what you think can be improved.

Thanks for taking the time to look at this.

p.s. Is there a way I can embed the video, or is it only direct links on this forum?

Perhaps you should re-post on youtube? I figure you know, but the link doesn’t seem to work. You can refresh the link or try another site. And it’s only a WIP right, I don’t think it will matter that much for this particular post.

I’d be glad to take a look. Just wanted to reply just to show there are people interested in your project.

@Darced just delete the https:// out of the link

@RustyMuldoon. The animation is looking good! Something you could try and improve is the neck looks broken especially in the 2nd half of the shot.

Ok. Thanks. Try it now.

I wanted to exaggerate his head swinging round, which probably explains the neck. I’ll play about with it and see if I can make it more natural. Thanks for your feedback.

Ok so I took a look (Sorry for being dumb :P) Anyway, I took a peek and the animation is real nice. I’m only a novice animator, but I feel like you could exaggerate the head on some poses. When the toon’s head head moves back and forward I don’t see a lot of recoil. Also I think you can enhance the torso. When he twists forward in the end it looks like it’s only rotated on the X-axis. I think there are a few little issues with keys that can be addressed pretty quickly. It’s a strong action though.

Like I said I haven’t been at this all that long so maybe I’m wrong. Just some possible things to work on. Good luck!
