Looking for critique towards moving forward

Hi there.
I have been painting on and off for a few years and am still relatively new to digital painting. I currently use an Ipad Pro with Procreate being my main program. I have been working towards building my skills up once again after a bit of a break from art. One of my weakest (among many) areas right now is in faces so here is a portrait a recently painted as a study piece not meant for anything besides isolating my weaknesses so I can attack them. Anyways here goes nothing,

Since you’re a total beginner, there’s a lot of knowledge and skill missing from anything you do, and if you would like to become a better artist, the best thing is to buckle down and really study and practice the foundations of visual art. If you haven’t done so, head on over to the “Art Techniques & Theories” subforum (linked below in my signature), where a lot of very helpful information on how to develop effectively as an artist are included in the sticky threads.
