Look to buy a new computer for Nuke and Maya Fluid sims

Can someone please recommend the best computer hardware to get for doing:

-maya fluid effects
-maya rigid body dynamic effects
-real flow
-vray
-nuke compositing

I’m thinking in the ball park of $2k give or take.

Please advise…

prebuilt or are you happy to build it yourself? Keeping an existing moniotr/keyboard, mouse, OS, harddrives?

I don’t know much about installing hardware, so it would be best/easiest for me if it was prebuilt.

Sorry, I cant really help with the laptop. I took the easy way out and grabbed a mac :wink:
