Alright :slight_smile: I’m In this time. See that dude on the left? the grey? well I’m gunna re-create it with a different style of suit, and its gunna be Spacy :slight_smile: I think this image potrays me because I’m an
observer though out life as we speak, I study everything and gather resources for myself as guidence though out my artwork.

I have learned so much entering these challeges and other tips that lead me the right way on cgtalk.com thank you all for the support and lets get the ball rolling! HEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAA! gallops away

The Grey will be re-created from scratch and I’ll start from a simple box.

Ok I could not find my old scetches on the net. It seems that I lost everything, and I have no scanner :frowning: What i’m gunna do is render my old alien as a referance and re-build it from there, also I bought this book at the 7-11 which has a damm good discription of greys :slight_smile: and couple of good drawings as a guide as well :slight_smile: So I plan to model the basic head of the grey then ill have to call the shots on his suite :slight_smile: that will be next after the head model. Anyhoots I’m also wondering about uploading… Is it alright that if I can use one of my usally places where I upload pics to? if not let me know and ill use the cgtalk.com uploader… Any ways heres the referance I create that im gunna go by… ill be back.

OK this is an early start. What I’m gunna do is model the basic head and its proportions ie: eyes, nose, mouth, ears. Then once I have the basics down, I then go back into it and tweak it up like cleaning it and giving it the finish touch to it and also fix the errors that was made. So yeah this is where im at so far :slight_smile: ill post again in time :slight_smile:

I don’t get it…
Sorry, I’m not trying to be rude, it’s just if it were me, I would want to try something totally new and different. It’s cool that you want to improve on your model, but so far it looks the same. Don’t let me tell you what to do, but personally, I would like to see what else you have up your sleeve. Anyway, just a thought. I’m sure the next alien will turn out great, and more power to you.

Gilgamesh: Yeah its Confusing :slight_smile: but just following the rules on what do you portray yourself as. So I’m just going by that lad :slight_smile: and yeah I got somethin up my sleeves eheh :slight_smile: your just gunna have to wait for it :slight_smile: as for patience is the key to this world of earth.

I tweaked the eyes a bit I still have a long way to go eh :slight_smile: Il be back with more updates soon :slight_smile:

Yus :slight_smile: I Just worked on the nose today. Ill have to kick my self in da arse to get motivated :slight_smile: Anyways Ill work on the mouth tommorow. Then ill add the inner lobed ears… Ill be back.

Well, I got a new Job here in my town, and its a printing company. So that means I can make my own post cards or CG posters or anything you can think of for a low price :wink: since I work there I get a 25% discount… so thats why I’m lacking here :frowning: but tommorw Im at my fullest towards modeling cause I get to have 4 days off. so… Ill defenlty keep things up as a pomise to me and to you all :slight_smile: Anyways all I did in about 1 hr is that I just added a mouth, I’ll config this later tommorw. At leasts I got a start on it at this point… well Ill be back again :slight_smile: take care.

OK today I modled the hand based of that scetch :slight_smile: well…close to it anyways :slight_smile: I plan to add small suckion cups at the tips on his fingers… not too big though…would look too silly :slight_smile: anyhoots, ill be back.

Hymm looks like time has beating me on this one and I will post this thread to the W.I.P area now… :frowning: due to a reacent job I got the last 2 weeks… put me under :slight_smile: also effects my maxxing time. So what I do now is I get up 6 Am every day and model until like 8:00 Am and that leaves me 2 hrs :frowning: after work I try to get back into it :slight_smile: but I also have to spend time with my hunnie :slight_smile: so time is hard to find now… Well At leasts I had fun with all of you great talented artists :slight_smile: Keep it going man :slight_smile: good luck to you all!
