well here is the first sketch, I think the body is a bit small (or the head is a bit big). Did one of my girlfriend as well, although I probibly wont have time to build both of us. Off to find some good how to build toonish 3-d people tutorials
later:scream:

i wanted to go the small guy way but i just couldn’t draw it, so i ended up going in the opposite direction.

for my taste you should make the body thinner and leave the head as it.

keep it up:)

Its all go down here!

#5

and then some…
I decided to wait till it was 3-d before I looked into the size of the head/body. As for the hobbie well that might have to stay secrit for now.

im not completely happy, but since this is my 2nd ever attempt at a human and my 1st was a shambles I think Im getting there. The hair is a stand in for now, because im not sure how to do scruffy hair yet.
Any C&C welcome, I am working on the hobbie part but I would really like to get the me side more sorted first.

I think it still looks cheap and life less… any ideas?

HAH! to tell you the truth I am so pissed off with this I have given up. I supose Im just not quite ready for the challenge level yet. I really couldn’t get a skellyton working on the me bit and it made posing him imposable. I have lernt heaps about it since then but Im still not quite there…
oh well maybee the next challange

You shouldn’t give up! You’re really good. I could never go as far as you have. To tell you the truth I don’t know how to learn how to model. I can’t find tuts on the stuff I really need! I think you should stay in the competition. Good luck

#18

what software you using? maybee I can help. Altough you can pretty much use any tutorial for any software and cross it over to the one you are using. I use a few Lightwave tutorials with Cinema, with a bit of lateral thinking they cross over pretty well.
