Hmm, some tips then. The way I do folds is simply cutting some edges (mind the quads) on the cloth and drag the verts over the edges - much like a real fold.
You also need to add enough geomitry to define the fold, otherwise you get this melted fold-thing…
This may sound a little blurry the reason is that I’ve been awake for 21 hours, I’m going to bed…
Have fun!
Dude,
looking wicked there:thumbsup:
will you add some base materials? it makes such a difference.
later
started working at the scene this evening:
I hope you like it.
Thank you all for the really nice comments … It’s a great motivation
sad: Changed the pose a littlebit to make it more dynamic…what do you think?
Joril: thank you for the tip … have to try it on my next character.
Fede: i with the next update i will provide a wireframe and a colored version too.
WOW dude, that is such a hectic scene man.
You work really fast, and it looks really good.
Nice.
What progy you use again?
Teenager style
Nice work dude, the only thing that bothers me, but in a way it doesn’t, is the desk behind you (him)…it looks a little bit to big for him, sort of…i mean, there are big desks, but the way i see it, this is a propotion problem…BUT, the more I look at it, it looks better and better…just me though :applause:
nice, nice, nice
wow the scene looks great :buttrock: :buttrock: :buttrock:
really well done! :airguitar :airguitar
Look’n great man!
crit: I think your character is a bit too small, compared with his environment.
But it looks very nice, good luck!
:airguitar
another small update, cause i am a littlebit busy these days.
the colored scene:
and the wireframe:
Thank you for the comments
Fede: i am using Maxons Cinema 4D
torbjorn + nibo: i wanted to make the objects a littlebit more unpropotional, like a big midi tower on the table or big CDs.
great but i hope the chaos will grow! maybe some underpants hanging at the ceiling-vent.
the cord on which the alarmclock is fixed should be way thinner.
anyways: you rule the house!
‘I like it alot’
Good work man, looking very good, nice modelling and composition.
:buttrock:
man that’s lookin ace there . . .
Now i feel as if i need to add a scene to mine as well.
Still trying to rig the mofo, pain in the proverbial arse i tell ya, riggin . . . man why don’t they invent a ‘solid rig’ button
anyhoo, looking superb man
tho perhaps even better if there’s some motion in the char, as if hes doin tha wild thing on the bed, really letting loose.
Hi KoRn!
This is great! I like it a lot ![]()
The only thing I don’t like is the keyboard in the smashed screen. It doesn’t convince me…
And: there are still a few uncovered spots on the floor. :shame: You know, what you’ve got to do! :buttrock: :airguitar :xtreme:
YEEEAAAAH!!!
Go on! Great work so far!
