Alrighty… I’m in. :hmm:

This challenge looks very promising. I can’t wait!!

The image below was the splash image on my website, just to give an idea of how I am… kind of…

I’ll post more sketches soon.

Cheers.

Hey cousin!!

I can’t wait to see a 3dCousin in my screen.
How are you going to do your hair? geometry?

Run!!! run!!! more scketches and 3dcousin!!

See you :bounce:

Hi.

LichiMan: I have no idea about how I’m going to model the hair… I guess I’ll model about 10 thick “hairs” and I’ll give them the shape of the head, then model the ponytail (is it called ponytail??).

a couple of quick sketches:

:lightbulb

#5

give him a HUGE pencil!

#6

Hop!

dur23: A huge pencil? haha, funny, but I think someone else has already come up with that idea for this challenge.

Here’s a more “3D-friendly” sketch. Kind of like what my cartoony profile would look like.

#7

Hey, you’re Guybrush Threepwood!

#8

HAHAHAHHAHA, YES!! He is Guybrush!!

Come’on Cousin!! Show us the first 3D version of you!! I’m sure that you’ve started it.

#9

I like that first scribble, the intensity of scribbling.
How do you get the images to appear on the thread?

#10

Ahah! Yes! Guybrush Threepwood!

Great Frinsklen !
You are Lichiman 's cousin! Ahah! So you are a Pabbloz’s Spanish Mafia member!

#11

Hey, you’re Guybrush Threepwood!

Haha… I guess you’re right. I had never noticed.
I’ll try not to forget that.

You are Lichiman 's cousin! Ahah! So you are a Pabbloz’s Spanish Mafia member!

That’s right, Totitch.

And here I am again, in 3D:

#12

Hé hé ! I love your sketch, I’m looking forward the 3D version.
So far, so good

#13

The 3D model is looking very good so far.
Very cool facial structure.
Keep it up!

hey, not that this isn’t gonna rock, but i think that your first sketches were better, i liked the angularity…umm…sharp angles… of the first few sketches. keep updating.

later

#15

Hi,

MosaFacku: yeah, I like the first sketches too… but remember that this is 3D, not 2D, and it’s not easy to mantain the “scribbling” , as dobermunk said. It’s just a bit risky, I don’t know… :hmm:

I’ve started with the hair. Damn, I wish I had very short hair…

#16

That hait looks like it would be tuff to fit into place. But you’ve done a damn good job!

keep it up cause its gonna rock!:bounce:

#17

I see the form in the poses and I think that the ‘edge’ will come in once you’ve posed yourself. The expressiveness of the expressions then will make a big difference.

I think it’s looking great! I think you’ll want to have some of those strains of hair for the ‘unruly’ mood of those poses, though.

(And if you do go and cut your hair, then we’ll need to see new sketches

#18

yah, agree, it isn’t easy to get the highly stylized feel of 2d sometimes. but i do really like the guybrush look u got going.

#19
