The fluff at on the collar are just the subpatches you can see in the wireframe picture there, with an FMB bump map applied to it, then I turned on the “bump displacement” feature in item properties. I think I’ve stumbled across a nice way to add “detail” to clothing! The best bit is that the bump map can change over time by adjusting the envelope for it’s position/size etc, so I can imagine being able to make it look like the clothing is being blown in the wind and whatnot.
Right, the countdown begins, not long to go now! Anyway here’s an update! I’ve changed the colours, what’s your opinion? Not that it matters I suppose seeing as how it’s a modelling challenge :shrug:
