Thanks rayz. Most everything else in the scene has a bumpmap too but I have to tweak them a bit. :wip:

He can even show off his new remote to everybody himself :). Replaces the stand-in he had. The issue on the hand has been noted. Oh did I mention WIP? hehehe

Ingram, I really like your style. One of my favorite cartoonish things I’ve ever seen :thumbsup:
I don’t know how to do good 3d. I’m working at it but I still suck. Oh well! Keep up the good work!

arjun: Thanks alot. Thats praise is too high for me. Keep plugging away at it; the “working at it” part is key. After all we’re all still working at it :D. Just to think about all I’ve learned since finding this place alone… Mind boggling.

Here’s the latest update

I think Ryes comment from last night were that the ground was too bright against the red and the grass needed to be broken up a bit. I’m working on it now.

Edit: Great now my web host’s gone wonky guess I’ll have to attach.

Not quite finished, I was planning on polishing it up a bit today.
By adding some tufts of grass or weeds here and there to break up the ground, add some more smoke, and somehow show that the plane is in the air more as that was also commented.

:bounce: Make some DOF ( depth of field) or motion blur on the plain!!!

Theres more DOF and motion blur on this one.
Close to finish. A bit more tweaking and I think the next one will be final.
