Heres a wee lil update. I’m trying to decide what my hobby is right now, playing Soul Caliber on the dreamcast with my friends or shootin pool. The only downside to Soul Caliber is I’d have to find time to model my friends and my room. :shrug:

Some comments on the model:
Done in 3D Studio max 5 using Wiro’s excellent tutorial. THANKS WIRO! This is the cleanest head I’ve ever made! All I need are the ears and some minor details like forehead wrinkles. I’ll post my concepts once I can find someone around here with a scanner.

Looks great so far!
I see you’re going to add some wrinkles, but dont add too much detail, or it won’t look cartoony anymore. I’d suggest you model those wrinkles on the forehead, but they’re invisible until he raises his eyebrows, for example. Just an idea.

keep it up, looks very nice!

btw, post some sketches, concepts or whtever, please.

I only get the idea that the eyes are a bit to close to eachother, a sin I think because it makes you look a bit stupid…lol ^.^"

Wow, very clean model! I like it a lot. I dunno about the eyes being close together. Maybe it adds to the “toon” of the model?

Frinsklen:Thats what I plan on doing with the wrinkles. If when adding them I feel its too detailed I’ll remove them. :bounce:

Just a small update today… I added my hat and the back of my hair. I’ll try to get the ears, side burns, and concepts up on my next update.

School has been nailing me lately because finals are in a week so I haven’t had much time to work. Heres a small update, enjoy! Concpets coming hopefully tomorrow or tonight.
