Lips

#1

So this is the image I’m currently working on - and it’s my first digital painting in PS CS3

I’m having troubles with the lips - I’m working here and there atm hehe, so when I tried to get the lips I couldn’t get ANYTHING right on it, I have no problems with a pencil, but it’s quite different with a tablet and PS :stuck_out_tongue:

Could anyone give me some tips/show some good tuts?

you can find good references in the Artistic Anatomy and Figurative Art forums

generally speaking you should visualize the mouth area as a cylinder, perpendicular to the ground when the face is upright, and the lips follow that shape curve.
