Hi,
rendering from XSI, and comping in AE. The lipsync is all good in XSI and RAM preview in AE, but as soon as I render it, its off. whether its uncompressed or compressed, .mov or .avi, just doesn’t match up.
Anyone else have similar problems?
Lip sync issue
Check if your framerate is interpreteed correctly from the beginning(Project window->Rightclick->interpret footage).
Check if samplerate of audio rendered out matches the samplerate of the imported audio.
nothing to do with framerate or interpret footage.
its to do with quicktime and/or export.
Sometimes audio in After Effects renders out weird. I guess when I do lip sync with animated characters, I render a chunk of audio I want to use (in my case I compile everything in Premiere). Then I will animate to the audio in After Effects and then render it out and drop the render back into Premiere. That workflow usually works for me. Not sure if that helps but it could be an option?
