Lip Sync Animation...."I've got a big surprise for you!"

great work! Minor movement on the neck would approve it further, deffinately. When he starts extinguishing the match /14th second/ it will bring more his craziness if you dont move the head to look on the other guy but instead move only the pupils to look at him first, then you can rotate the head. But thats personal oppinion.
Also I like very much the look on his face when he leaves the frame at the end  Very nasty , his eyes look crazy enough.
But what amazes me is that you did it in 3 days woahh

#50

the link doesnt work for me …why?

#51

Great stuff as usuall Tyson! Do you know if Peter is going to include a mouth like the one on the lowmax rig you have for the maya version? I perfer it to the jaw.

#52

The link works but is reaaally slow. Maybe someone could put up a mirror because I’d love to see this.

#53

Hey everyone! Thanks for the replies! Sorry about my slow server…but I posted some mirrors in the 1st post!

Hi Robcat: Don’t get me wrong man, I wasn’t posting this as a ā€œquickieā€ in the sense that I didn’t think it was finished. Certainly I worked hard to get it done over the weekend, but I didn’t mean to come across as having gotten it done ā€˜as fast as possible’ or anything. I appreicate your mention of the weighting/timing/poses issue. Having looked at the animation again after recieving all of the critiques I’ve gotten from here and elsewhere I can definitely see what you guys mean and will try to avoid that in the future

Hey moonsafari: Good call about the brows. I had a couple people mention to me that they seems too symmetrical the whole time…and I agree now having looked at it again…that error was definitely an oversight on my part. Thanks!

*oh and thanks for the plug Roberto!

The camera and the mood made this piece exceptional. gr8 work tyson… I’ve seen the other stuff on your site before and I always admired your cameras, esp with the robot/car crash . I agree with you on how much does it add to a piece to create an enviroment for your animation. And ditto to what u said about character studio… man I just got a new job where I have to animate with it and I’m used to XSI/Maya rigs that look like those of Peter Starostin… I was shocked to know I can’t control certain parts of a rig individually… GRRRR it’s hideous !

#56

Fantastic Animation!
I loved that movie, great ending.

#57

awesome! You’re a true pro at this!

#58

Sweet, I don`t have anything to add to other critiques, its really well acted

#59

It was fun to watch. I think you got some really god moves there.
