Lineart Render

#1

Hi, there,

wonder if you can help me, I´m an absolute beginner in all things Blender and I´d like to know if there is a lineart rendering option in Blender.

An equivalent to 3DStudio Max´s Ink n Paint, if you will.
Something like this.

You can use Freestyle for that kind of renders.

Hi, thisroomthatikeep,

thank you so much for your post, that is EXACTLY what I was looking for thank you.
I´ve downloaded it and installed it… or tried to install it.
I followed the instructions as indicated::

  1. unzip the package
  2. run vcredist_x86.exe
  3. run Freestyle.exe

When I run Freestyle, I get a completelly blank white interface window.
I clearly must be doing something wrong or maybe my computer´s acting up:

Windows 7 Home Premium
ACPI X64
Nvidia GeForce GT 320
10 GB Ram
Realtek PCIe GBE
2 2TB hardrives

Help… :frowning:

Go to http://graphicall.org/?keywords=freestyle and grab a build for your system, I’ve tried one for linux 64 bit and it works.

You’ll have to activate Freestyle in the Post Processing panel.
