Lightwave running super slow

Hi! my friend has a problem with lightwave(hope this is the right forum to ask aboutit). He has recently installed it on hes laptop but LW runs super slow, laggy. making a simple box is like modeling 100k poly object, moving and edge u’d have to wait half a minute for LW to load and than again. Running Zbrush\3dsmax\maya doesnt have this problem they run normaly.

Anybody has any idea perhaps or a general direction of what that might be? having trouble finding recourses on the internet and the class isnt veryhelp full at solving this problem

The Lightwave forum here or @ Newtek would be a much better place to ask.
You did not provide ANY information on the notebook or even the scene in question. Don’t expect anyone to bother with your problem if you don’t.

Sorry, hes notebook is Lenovo Y50-70. it has Intel Core i7 GTX 860M Windows 8.

ohh and there isnt actaully any scene, just creating an object in a fresh file
