Ok so this is my first time posting one of my projects after having done a couple in the past.
I decided to work with this project in Houdini instead of using Maya again to further develop my skills. The scene had a decent collection of material and objects types to try and bring together. I used one shader I developed to handle all the surfaces, it’s available on odforce if you guys want. Sadly, my home computer is kind of slow(1 core) so I’m not sure how much progress I will be able to show next, but I would love some critiques.
Caustics is the one thing I’m pretty sure I won’t be able to run, but if that is the biggest problem, I can do some old fashion cheating. Hearing about light levels/colors, object colors, glass blur, attenuation depths, small texture details, would be great to hear about. I’m out of the lab so I don’t get much feedback anymore. So any and all would be great.
