Level Designer Position

This position will be responsible for producing levels for a cutting-edge, innovative FPS-style game.

[b]Essential Functions:[/b]
Create game level maps with UnrealED
Must be able to do scripting, BSP, modular level design, lighting, and performance to create entire levels.
Must work closely with Lead Artist and Art Director on visual aspects of design 
Must participate in game playtest sessions 
Must be able to work very well under pressure. 
Position reports to Lead Designer 

[b]Abilities:[/b]

Must have extensive knowledge of FPS level design. This includes theories and practices of game flow, choke points and balance.
Practical knowledge of modular level design
Strong experience with scripting in games preferred.
Previous speed mapping experience a plus
An understanding of advanced lighting techniques a big plus.
Must be able to take responsibility for decisions and actions
Proven Oral & Written Communications Skills
Proven Organizational and Analytical skills

[b]Functional Knowledge:[/b]
Any of: UnrealED, GTKR, QER, VHE, etc. UnrealED preferred. 

Unreal Engine 3 Experience a huge plus.
3DSMax,Maya,Lightwave a major plus
Outlook, Word, Excel

[b]Minimum Qualifications:[/b]
Previous experience with a FPS level design package is required 
Must be willing to relocate to Denver, CO area for full-time employment 
Salary based on experience; 401k, health insurance, and other benefits provided
