Back in January, Lenovo introduced the ThinkVision LT1423p, which looked like a possible alternative to small Cintiqs (it was described as a portable secondary monitor with stylus support and a 13" HD+ display… for a much lower price than Wacom’s similar products). Articles claimed it would release Q2 2013, but it didn’t, and I haven’t seen anything else about it til now.
Lenovo recently added this [support page for the product](http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/product-and-parts/detail.page?&DocID=PD028550), which includes this info:
Availability date: 30 Sept 2013 (Worldwide except for Russia/Moldova/Serbia/Turkey/Ukraine/Belarus/Kuwait/Kenya/Nigeria/Kazakhstan/Korea/Vietnam/Cambodia/India/Sri Lanka/Malaysia)
Glad it looks like it hasn't been scrapped--I'll be interested to see how well it works. Probably safe to assume it won't offer Cintiq-level quality, but at a fraction of the price, it might be a reasonable option for doodling on-the-go.
(My apologies if this was already posted–I didn’t see it browsing through the forums, but I might’ve overlooked something.)
