Learn ZBrush

#1

Hi I want to start learn ZBrush can someone tell me what the best way from the basics to expert, I don’t care if it cost, just want to know my options online

If you want free help YouTube is a good resource for basic stuff but if you want to pay then head over to Digital Tutors. It’ll get you started and then the rest is playing with the software on your own.

Once you’re comfortable with ZB then check out Gnomon Workshop DVD’s as they tend to be a little more advanced.

There’s also a wealth of excellent Gumroad resources out there now. Some free and some for as little as $1.

Also, Uartsy/Zbrushworkshops have a huge library of top quality training and even a ZB certification course.

I’d echo this advice. Start with free tutorials, and possibly also Digital Tutors and such to get oriented, then after some practice you can pick up some more advanced training from places like Gnomon, or even an online course somewhere. ZBrush is quite a deep piece of software, it’s capable of quite a lot, but I’d recommend learning it at a reasonably slow pace as it’s easy to drown in all the options and tools it has.

Wow thanks for all of this info, do anyone know about a online certificate course on ZBrush??

Yes, I just mentioned one several posts up.

Also, long-time Zbrush guru Scott Spencer just released a whopping 12-hour introduction to ZB4R7 tutorial at Gnomon.

If I was at the bottom of the ZB learning curve again, I know where my money would go.

I also have about 40 free Zbrush tuts on my YT channel. Check my signature.

I second Scott’s tutorials and his books on digital sculpting. You can find them on Amazon and they are worth it.
