I tried to challenge myself in this scene by completing it in a short amount of time. This scene took 7hrs from start to finish. I used Maya fur for the hairs, and rendered in Maya software. I really love macro shots, so this was a fun project for me. Comments are most welcome!

I like macro photos to :-). Nice work, I think the DOF is little to much. Maybe you should give a transfulnence ( I dont how write this) to the leaf.

Wow! Really very cool work. The macro shot was really good but if u show the insect in the other angle, i think that looks more better. But anyway gr8 job 
like the picture a lot, nice theme.
i think the bumping on the leaf looks kind of wrong,
i think its the effect from using a leafs photo for bumping
and the highlights on the photo fuzz up the bumping to look
kind of double exposed, i hope you know what i mean.
Given the amount time great result though.
