I think this deserves a plug on the front page more than a lot of things we see there everyday… Maybe you don’t really care about frontpage and all of this, but I do, because I like this picture and I think it’s a shame if people can’t enjoy this picture as much as I do just because the don’t know of its existence…
Beside of this, I’d like to critique two things: the first is that when I look at this image I’m not sure where to focus. I see a lot of elements at the same level and I supose the main element is the Orc so maybe you could do something about this (put some depth of field, change the lighting, or just adjust the frame proportions. I’ve done this for you just to better explain myself because my english is not very good… I hope you don’t mind. If you mind I’ll just remove this attachement and say sorry.).
The other thing is that textures of the armor have too much white colour and are too noisy… but maybe you like them like this. In this case, they’re ok. 
And from me you get 5 stars anyway, because it’s still an outstanding piece of art.

First of all this amazing! I wish I could use it as a back drop but I am not sure if it will fit my screen nicely. (4:3 aspect ratio) I might still however. Not sure why this hasn’t made front page yet, a cgtalker winning a huge contest.
Congrats on the win!!! And have fun with the uber computer, I upgraded mine too recently.
HOpefully its a dual core processor, they are amazing! Looking forward to more work Zippity zopp.

Thanks for sharing such brutality ! 
Orc’s anatomy and implements are awesome, textures, pose, everything but what I most loved is that sky… lol it fits perfectly there and gives a ‘weight’ to the image.

It would be really helpful if you could show us a wireframe of this masterpiece. And for us lesser artists…is it possible to show us how you made certain parts of that piece?? I love the rocks. Can you possibly give us a brief synopsis into the creation of it?
