LEAD CHARACTER ARTIST

Treyarch is looking to hire a lead character modeler for a James Bond project!

Treyarch is located in a recently renovated space in Santa Monica, California, just minutes from the beach. Team members enjoy playing weekly basketball and soccer games, afternoon foosball or working out at the neighboring gym. The studio has Friday morning bagels, well stocked kitchens, great benefits and competitive salaries. We’ve recently shipped “Call of Duty 3”, “Ultimate Spider-Man” and “Call of Duty 2: Big Red One”.

Qualifications:
[ul]
[li]Character modeling (mostly editing and working with 3D scan data) [/li][li]Character rigging [/li][li]Custom LOD creation [/li][li]Work with Lead Shader Artist in creation of characters shaders [/li][li]Managing our character modeling team [/li][li]Work as a liaison between outside contractors and our team [/li][li]Maintain characters validity in-game through out the duration of the project [/li][li]Preparing characters for submission to licensees for approvals [/li][/ul]Requirements:

Must have shipped a minimum of 1 title as Character Modeler. 3+ years experience as 3D modeler in games.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

[li]Shipped titles concurrently on today’s consoles PS2/Xbox/Game Cube [font=Palatino Linotype][/font][/li][li]3D Studio MAX modeler, experience with other 3D packages helpful [/li][li]A strong knowledge of human anatomy and muscles structure [font=Palatino Linotype][/font][/li][li]Applicant should be organized, a team player and a proactive communicator [font=Palatino Linotype][/font][/li][li]Solid understanding of game creation limitations and dependencies [/li][li]Able to demonstrate leadership skills [font=Palatino Linotype][/font][/li][/ul]
