layer visibility controls

Hi Guys.
Is there a way to activate 1 layer’s visability and simultaneously disable the other many layers you might have?

Like the ALT left click in Photoshop?

I guess I could copy past the part as a new item but there must be a way to avoid going through and removing visability of all layers except the one I want to work on… with every reload a many layer model .

If you right click on the item list tab there is an option for viewport settings>auto visibility

Then when you select a layer it hides the rest automatically.

Great tip!

Can either of you advise on how to get vertices to show in the (black sketch) background layer?

Following Andy’s tank tutorial in Modo 301 I find the vertices in the background layer disappear meaning I have no guide to snap to.
