dear powell,

this one is for you…its the start of my algorithmic body of work… I will adopt a different strategy that yours…

A) lsystem designed/programmed in houdini…I have been using the software since 1.0

B) rendered in zbrush…I dont have all day to wait on maxwell…and maya and max choke on the geometry.

C)evolution of both softwares will come into focus.

D) will consider simulation art contribution after christmas.

just a tip: you can use maya hair to get the same results with more organic feel than this image… i think maya can handle everything (talking about polygons)… or maybe i don’t understand your idea deforming wires in to a sphere…

use mental ray instead of maxwell, for me mentalray is better than maxwell 1000%

nope…thats a poly mesh…and its meant to be cold render…its a starting point…you’ll see over the course of the next few days!

thanks for the tip…I might be able to pull it of by exporting the curves and letting paint effect handle it…

but zbrush guarantees a different realm.
