la batalia: stream of consciousness

a composition in between natural and digital abstraction…a search for an ideal resolution between what is “real” and what is computation…the process…taking chartpak markers and making a brush/stamp library…and integrating that with my homemade fractal explorations…the common meeting ground is photoshop…where the attempt is to mediate the composition into a synergistic whole where you have to engage yourself into the piece to figure out what the parts are…

anyhow I was up piecing it together last night and I thought hey let me do an upload…its been too long one waiting for detractors of fractal art to make a stand…

bottom line…work is stronger than words…make your work and present it…take critique and defend the reasons why you made you made and did what you did…

and make more…simple yet not so simple…because if you dont have enough work…or enough thought…or not enough time…or not enough energy…you cant possibly come to grips with the vastness of the abstract…you end up speaking into a world where cultures aren’t yours…yet…you feel the urge to speak…lonliness…maybe… anyway…when you should be silently making your works…which represent your wine…on an visual level anyway…and you bite off more than u can chew…and there you hang…no work…no excuse…no statement…yet there are fractal wizards and warlocks…who simply embrace how vast all chaos is…and then try to order it…and there are others…even older…who dabble…in the “dark art” of find their discipline in hand coded mathematics…who am I to say what is right…shrug…I just like the battle between polarities of order and chaos…it reminds me of dancing…and how my heart races…over terrains…planets…miscrosms…closer to a higher element…hyperspace???

naw just the upgrade to the fourth dimension…

anyhow…I have more work to upload…but recent event have kept me delayed…I will be in contact soon…

sorry if this seemed crazy just got home with energy and urge to type.

peace

Your works becomes more difficult and interesting. I admit that I mainly love Apo in its minimalist nature. Just to dig into the oceans of data, to explore them and to find my original sight, may first idea. You can say ‘a journey to find the archetypes’ of our (my) imagination.
But I admit too your effort to ‘organize’ the chaos is admirable.
PS: I know your ‘urge to type’.
Good lucks!
