Krakatoa Particle Rendering

Hi everyone,i am working on creating realistic foam with real flow.I created realwave and with realwave particle i am getting my foam,i set the resolution 10 and max particles to 10.000.000.When the sim has done,i merge my foam particle to krakatoa and without changing any settings i rendered the anim. and got awful result,in 1.frame 564.000 particles and last frame over 6million particles was rendered,even this such big amount of particle it

looks so empty,the scene in render because particles were rendering like point so small,there is any way to show this particles much more than normal.I hope you guys understood me,thanks.

I"m pretty sure I get what you’re saying – even with 6 million particles you’re not getting a good render. At 500,000 particles I can understand it not being dense enough… A lot of things can affect the overall density of the render. If you’re really close to the particles you’ll need to up the particle count a lot as the size of the particle is still only going to be a single pixel (ish) …if you have krakatoa 1.5 you can render as voxels – meaning they are a fixed size in world space, not screen space, so they will render bigger if you are closer to them. Also, if you are bringing in the bin sequence into a prt loader (which you should be doing), you can copy the prt loader 10 times, and each one can have a noise modifier with a very small strength / small scale and different seed… you’ll essentially multiply your particle count by 10. (that’s even in the help file)…

Man,you saved my day,thank you very much…You really got what i meant.What were you saying about the scale(voxel),that was my problem,additionally i think i did wrong about useging the light because it dissappeared my lot of particle i think,as i’ve understood you said me to merge particle like 5times to get high denstiy,i was wondering,there is an option to change scale value to get more density?i couldnt find ver1.5 in official site?thank you.

Hi again,thanks for your care and good replies…It seems you know krakatoa well.Now i checked out what you post here,thanks for making me known about krakatoa…One question,i had looked frantic films and googled though for download krakatoa 1.5 but couldnt find anything,it hasnt released yet or if krakatoa exists,where can i find the download or purchase it?thank you very much.

I can say that since 1.5 was just announced at Siggraph a few days ago, so it shouldn’t be to long.

Someone more official than I would have to give you a more accurate date.
