just one object in wireframe on shaded mode

Hey everyone
I’m looking for a way to present some work. I have a scene with multiple objects. and I need one object to be displayed as wireframe on shaded and the rest just shaded normally.

Is there a little script I can do to force it just on one object? I tried trick of just selecting the object but my publishing tool automatically deselects things :frowning:

with the “wireframe on shaded” activated, you could put all the other objects in a display layer and set the layer to Template.
That way the object outside the layer will be the only one with the wireframe
