Jpeg file structure failed... what does it mean?

Hi, I am traying to explore new wings 3d 0.98.32a, and there are some problems with this software.

When I try to make Image Plane:

And choose a JPEG file:

Comes this:

What the funk is this?
How I can solve this problem?

I’ve benn looking for this but I couldn’t find this on the wings developers forum, so I came here with the problem. But I have to stop talking… Thank you, a lot!

Generally I convert all my JPG’s to BMP so they can import. I always had problems importing JPG files but I did find that the latest release works better in that regard and can import JPG’s without problems. So try downloading.98.36 and tell me if you still have that problem.

Event with 0.98.36 there is the same problem.

But convertion to bmp or tif is working.

Have to do that in phtoshop or another app. (your pick) Wings won’t do the conversion for you. BMP’s always work for me. Jpegs have been working for me in .36. Not all of them will though I guess Wings is picky with JPG’s. I think Paintbrush or the free app with windows will do the conversion for you. Gimp is free you can download that and use that. Good luck.
