What a nightmare I am having with these!
First, I got a card through the door saying that I owed £25 before I could collect my package. I rang the courier up, and they said it was all customs charges. I then rang customs, and they told me that the courier was charging £13 of the £25.
I had an argument with the courier about this ‘administration charge’, which has resulted in me writing a letter to the courier’s headoffice.
I finally got the CDs home, and behold, the Rigging01 CD doesn’t work. I have tried it on two different computers, and the same result. My iMac just ejected the CD after seeing htat it couldn’t be read, and my PC completely froze while trying to read it… It turns out that there is what looks like a huge burn mark UNDER the plastic coating on the CD, actually on the data layer itself, so it doesn’t look like I will be able to copy the files onto my hard disk. All in all, I’ve spent nearly £80 on something that I could have had for £40.
Now to try and contact Joe to see what he suggests.
