Jewelery CAD Freelance rates

#1

Hi. am freelancing for the first time as a jewelery CAD designer. I am experienced, and can work quickly, but I have no idea how to go about charging my client. The pieces are simple, and will likely take less than 10, maybe even 5 hours to build, tweak, render, and complete (Depending on number of changes.) What is a good rate?

What would you charge? As of now, I am thinking 50 for building initial concept and $15 and hour for alterations. The initial build willl take me anywhere from 2-4 hours depending on how complex Does this seem fair? Am I over or under charging? Thank you in advance.

Can’t realy give you a good answer my friend… depends on a nuber of things. I get payed anything from $30 to $150 per hour depending on type of work, client ect. Guess you just have to go with your gutfeeling here=) sorry…

another way is put a limit like 1000 dollar a month and try to achieve it by the number of works you do
