and - thanks for sharing your process, enjoyed!
a.

That last one is very cool  Nice textures and the cool blue shirt really contrasts well with the surrounding warm temperatures.

#303

daniel, thanks a lot. it was a good little warmup, or cooldown

alenah, great to see you in here and thanks for the compliments.

it looks like my host is having serious troubles, they’ve been down for quite a few days now, kindof shuts my whole thread down atm. …sucks.

#304

geez, okay, my host is still shaky, if it continues like that i might as well think of opening a new thread…anyways, here is a small update on some work, i hope you’ll be able to see any images:

wip on the sacrifice picture:

wips on the Faerie image i added to my gallery:

thanks for watching people!

#306

#307

#308

Lovely comand on stroke you have …love yur sketches…keep going…

#309

submit127, cheers mate! much appreciated.

naresh, welcome, and thanks for the kind words, i will…with a little progress shot of the BabaYaga piece:

#310

Oooh long time since I visited this thread and there are lot more nice pictures too

Love the punk girl with the green hair… very expressive.
Also love the new year update with the faces. The bottom one looks better than the middle one of which you say you used reference. Is that something that comes because you are too caught up in the reference? I have that sometimes.

The sacrifice image does not work that good for me… it seems that only the boy and the knife are really though out and the rest was added as an afterthought. Composition could be much stronger there.
Looking forward to the colour on the babajaga piece. I have two hopes, one that you will be using a little more daring colours and two that you will work it out in brows and greens (would be great for ink style) like the swap setting the story has.

But I’ll wait and see. Cheers!

#311

matsman, thanks for checking back in. not sure i was too caught up in the ref, it’s just a different exercise i guess, and the result wasnt spectacular i agree

bout the sacrifice picture, i’m still reasonably confident that i can pull it together if i push this further, but i think i see your concern. and…it’s a girl…lol!

here’s a step on the baba piece, still a lot to do and directions i can go with this.

#312

How do u do the colouring, human?

#313

:drool:Awesome!

#314

submit127, not sure yet…could go with human flesh tones or even something more alien.

NR43, thanks dude, cool you dropped by
