I really like that ice scape

#162

Niiice forms on that pinup you started.

#163

Thanks Sylanya. Hope to be making lots of them. :bounce:

Thanks LoTekk!

I really had to wrestle with her left arm, I couldn’t get it all to work well. But I’m happy about the shading, for now at least. I hope to be showing some details soon.

#164

been reworking this like crazy… guess ref is good or something… still no hands :hmm: sorry Rebecca…

Next thing for sure, is the hands. Have a clear idea of where I wanna go now so.

no post in this version… problems imo are left arm, shoulder, head angle, hair perspective and left buttock… as far as I can tell…

C&C always welcome btw…

#165

Yup - I would give her some hands - having said that, the rest of her is put together ‘rather well’ puts eyeballs back in sockets

Gord

#166

Hahaha, thx Gord!!! will do my best to spice it up more though evil grin.

Doodle inspired by cypherx’s balloon woman, and for cypherx’s balloon woman. Had a click on the hair lineflow. her thread can eb found here  >> :surprised <<

en the newest version of ‘madonna with the big booty’…

#167

I decided to go for the hourglass, Might have to improvise to get her balance going right. Mind you shading is a bit rough around the edges because it’s quick to get the shapes right.

#168

None of the images are showing up but the first one. But it looks like you’re working hard! Keep it up! Beaux

#169

She needs hands! She needs hands!

#170

Oh no! = .

and oohw noo… not hands, I’m not ready yet. I need a little something…
No I don’t I’m just going to do it…

I’m thinking about switching from thi s dump to a new thread. I’ll just upload some pics to my ISP’s webspace untill I get a new host. The ends are hanging off too loose now. :wip:

Thanks for letting me know beaux, I would never have found out! phew

#171

Don’t even know if it’s physically right muscle wise, but I thought it looked the way I imagined (more or less).

Idle procrastination, hands… :s…

#172

Wow…Jm…ure getting there pretty quick man…ure hardworking i must say. The figures are looking great.

How did u come up with the grayscale method?

#173

Wow, I really like how this one is coming along! One thing that bothers me a bit is her booty. It just looks too small…or more of too short. Like it should be longer up and down wise. I don’t really know how to put it, hehe. I guess I think her buttocks needs to be a bit larger. Eh, don’t mind me, I think this is coming out great! Nice work, I really like how you paint in greyscale. It’s very interesting.

#174

Thanks Nazirull! I had a good boost with spring and all. And thanks

Well, I was looking around to understand more about painting method and came across some articles and a tutorial. I remembered that the eye builds up an accurate image through intensity and colour is an added advantage but not the main deal. My work was amusing at best and completely demoralising to myself lol. So I got methodical after doing an anatomy workshop painting, which was a copy of a photograph which showed some promise and was a first finished for me. From there on I just enjoyed stretching black and white to my likings, it’s good to set limits to both challenge yourself and keep the learning focused.
Btw the tutorial is the one on values and forms that’s in the art discussion forum.

Sylanya, thanks! I was trying to fix the bottom lol. But with the help of Oz Haver I got a long way in the end. By the time it was ‘too late’ I think I was halfway through enlarging it. You’re very right it should sag a bit more probably. Thanks for pointing it out. I might have missed that completely.

CHeers! The frenzy continues.

#175

Should be done with the nody, I want to start on some hands now. I did a little edit, I think it looks kind of cool(levels).

#176

Ok, now it’s near finished :wise: … Had to widen her hips for what I intended, and adapt her back. Pretty difficult… :S

#177

Ok, finally some hands… most difficult on this one I found was the bounce light and form of the wrist in this bend…

I’m kind of happy with it, really gives more life or character to her… C & C most welcome, I rarely do accurate hand attempts.

edit:Oh yeah, in the irhgt hand she’ll drag a rose abit as if a cello player, across her back. The other hand probably handling a curtain.

#178

Are these images even showing up at all? :scream:

#179

Hi jm!

I am having a hard time focusing on the technique given the sexy subject, but I will do my best…

I think that there’s a little too much space between waist and hip on her righthandside. It looks snake-like. And painful.

And the line between the buttocks stops rather short from the point where the back makes the transition to the “region of interest” ( )

Only minor crits, though, but I think the overall pose might benefit.

Keep it up!

closes the thread window before girl-friend comes in and inquires

#180

Hmm… that might explain the lack of focused critique, mmyessz…

Well Thx for taking the effort Mu, duely noted. lol.

I’m waiting till a later stage to fix up the back, the rose might change the take on things in the end. Hoping to do some worthy background as well this time, mood lit for the better part.

As for the back I figured the accumulation of bodyfat in the particular area, :surprised Would even the muscletone out. I’ll have a go at it though, thx!!!

lol
