Jan Mark's Scruffy Scrapyard...

Hmm… that might explain the lack of focused critique, mmyessz…

Well Thx for taking the effort Mu, duely noted. lol.

I’m waiting till a later stage to fix up the back, the rose might change the take on things in the end. Hoping to do some worthy background as well this time, mood lit for the better part.

As for the back I figured the accumulation of bodyfat in the particular area, :surprised Would even the muscletone out. I’ll have a go at it though, thx!!!

lol

#181

Well, this should be the final hand, maybe I’ll wrinkle it, but not sure how good that would look though. Am still working on a pose for the other hand.

#182

Looks nice! Hands are tricky, but you seem to be doing a really good job with them! Keep it up with the other hand, hehe!

#183

No ref too lol, :D, thanks. Other one is tricky considering I might light only part of it due to a curtain. Hmm, we’ll see.

#184

Smore work…

Not much to say, seems to me like it appears to small, could be te suggestion of perspective is missing. I’m going to have to work on that.

#185

Excellent…

#186

Thx bunches!!! ^^

#187

Great going matey…excellent stuff. I wis i can be as hardworking…:hmm:

Im looking at her chest and trying to imagine her without breasts…i see the chest looks rather too flat…i dunno …u try…and the upper arm of the bent one is to me, looks uncomfortably twisted…

Im no Rebecca man… but just telling ya wut i see…maybe im wrong…regardless…great stufff here man…im werking on my values for my piece tooo…hehehe

Cheers!

#188

Nice hands! Wow, those look great. Good work on those.

#189

Hey Nazirull, I was worried about the chest a bit too. I think I got the lower part of the ribcage volume a bit wrong, I think maybe tweaking at the back should help. Not sure, but leaving it to rest for a while and going to work on setting up detail. The arm stays lol, I can twist it like that myself, prolly depends on whether are born dexterous or not. Hmm…

Hey like your concept for the challenge, gonna be checking by.

Thx Sylanya, still feel the need to tweak her elft hand more, but it’s a solid start I feel.

Thanks again! more to come soon.

#190

nice work on the figure structure. stick some white in there! too grey.

#191

Looks really intriguing! I think the hands are lovely, too. I keep looking at her left buttock, though. Maybe it should be a little higher up, considering her pelvis position? Or juuust slightly bigger? Oh, what do I know. Love your mysterious lighting. Ga zo door!

#192

Wow that hand and the muscle structure look great. I too am not sure on that buttock, but thats a very minor niggle. keep going, I’m learning stuff from your thread.

#193

This is coming along greatly

I really like the hands too

#194

Jan Marc, thanks a lot for visiting my WIP-thread! As for the name, I’m not trying to be different, I just don’t know how to change it:)…I would love to call it ‘Maladies progress thread’ or something. Do you know how I can do it? (by the way, I’m not writing in Dutch cause that would be rude to everyone else here, wouldn’t it?) Looking forward to the progress on your lady as well…and I’m going to draw my friends this weekend!

#195

Thanks beaux. They’re in the works, I’ll define most of the diffusive(and important area’s) and then move onto highlights last.

Maladie, Heya no prob. I think you should just create a new thread you can continue your wip’s in there as well. Thanks for the pointer too, I’ll definitely fix her left cheek, to be honest it was on to slight raise the division between them :). I hardly ever write in Dutch here as well. Nothing wrong with a pat on the back though I guess eh. Is toch weer leuk om dan een hollandse te spreken af en toe.
Well, drawing friends is fun, especially caricatures. But I hear it can become embarassing lol:D Heheh. Looking forward also. I’m playing with jewelry ideas right now, there’s no real conceptual reference on it as far as I can tell, so I’m kinda inventing everything on the go.

99sproth, thanks man! Glad you’re actually learning from my work. Butts allready on the todo, I’ll probably get it right before it’s finished. (right as in within tolerance/tolerable limits)

Thanks Valentina! More soon. Cheers!

#196

Did some touch ups, I think her left cheek is better now too. Allthough her ass start a bit low maybe.

Just playing with some jewelry stuff on her head. The horns stand out a bit, so I think I’ll change the texture of those, and maybe the shape as well.

and edited for your eyes only.

#197

Jan-Mark, it is amazing how you work. The jewelry is beautiful.

I agree on her behind seeming misplaced; the area above her hips, to me at least, appears elongated. The hands have come along well, but back to her spine, perhaps it is because the bend is too extreme? She is shifting her pelvis back by almost 90 degrees. What the physically possible extents are, of course, I have no idea! But it’s still very cool. If it is impossible, then perhaps it will add to the fascination of the piece.

#198

Thanks Dalton(if I can call you that?) !!! That means a lot to me! I’ve been getting stuck on her for a few days past week. But now I’m finally getting up to speed again.

It must be an impossible angle if so many people think this lol. But untill I can make a better click on this pose I’m not changing her stance… yet.

So I’m off to watch movies or play wiht her jewelry some more this weekend. Thanks for stopping by ^^.

Some more experimentation, not sure about lnie flow, but I’ll just move ahead, it may add to an element of chaos which seems to add to realism often.
