Hey there,
on my Bachelor project I planned to use normal maps to achieve a very high amount of detail on my Characters. Rendering the beautylayer all looks fine, but what am I supposed to to with the AO?
Is there a way to set up a normal map inside of the mibAmbOcclusion shader?
If not at all, how else can I get realistic occlusion? If I bake the AO into my diffusemap, I will have double AO in the parts of the actual geometrie lies close to another (like the armpits etc), wont I?
Hell, maybe I should reconsider Displacement Maps, though I thought I could spare the render timeā¦
