Oh please don’t show anymore pics of damaged cars. I just found out some friggin idiot dented the right side panel of my car. :sad:

I’m so pissed of now. This is the 4th time in 5 months. :banghead:
I know it’s just a car, but come on.

Ok I am trying out how to make a template we all can follow…
On Monday night you would be tasked to post an update on the core thread,
no matter how trivial… The group can comment on the update during the rest of the week.

Here is a sample of the kind of stuff I would POST every Monday
MODAY March 10, 2008 UPDATE:
I am working on three projects right now:

and did some Weekend Filming:

It’s fun to see what you’re up to even if I find it a bit difficult to comment on. Do you use blueprints for the helicopter?

I’m also working on three different projects now.

Problem is, though, that the rigid structuring may lead to less likelihood of people actually contributing, you know what I mean? Part of the joy of the earlier thread was that people could show their stuff and it would be natural, rather than forced…if no one commented on it, that’s a comment in its own right. :scream:

In think it’s a choice between either single thread, where on Mondays the new-stuff appears, and in the days following the comments.

Or make multiple threads for anyone that wants to ‘compete’’.

The second option might be easier to navigate, but looses the Bonanza ingredient.
The first one is more chaotic.

I’d say lets start with option 1 and see how it works. But true, we do need a bit more ‘force’ to make sure mondays result in new stuff, and people actually commenting. But how ? :shrug:

Well that is why I was thinking of multiple threads for each week.
Either that or (in a single thread) based it on the Honor system.
Where people would post every Monday.

Another advantage of multiple threads is that it makes it easier for new people to join.

But lets keep in mind that the CORE concept is to force one self to try to impress a demanding crowd on a regular basis, mainly us. The artist gets the motivation of having an “captive audience.”

First things first Rick. In keeping with tradition, now that this thread has taken on a life of its own you must now rename it to something better than “Is CGS dead”. For example, the “Post random photos amongst a free-for-all bonanza of stylish commentary about life” thread, originally started by Pascal Blanche, began as the photo introduction page or something lame like that so he had to rename it.

Now its up to you Rick, name it good and odd. :smiley:

I feel some strong prestation presure on my shoulders… i’m not that strong with english words.

Help me a bit out here guys… Maybe something like “The one thread we have all been waiting for; the Bonanza revival thread”… am I pointing a bit in the right direction here?
