But I like the idea of that smile thing, I really need one, right now

Arrrh!! It’s alive!
The Bonanza has awakened, perfect.
:bounce::bounce::bounce: back at Dimi and the rest of the crew.
Well Rick, if you can handle the thousands of posts you should read some of the bonanza. You’ll then get a better idea of what kind of nonsense went on. I think I’ve got some Hurricane Katrina posts in there (I’m from BR,LA). If nothing else it was a good place to unwind.
However, I’m not much for reminiscing so expect some bizarre pictures soon. As soon as I can descide if you guys can stomach them. I’ll leave you to ponder now, Mwahahaha!
Wyatt, I’m never going to forget you offering shelter to some of Queenie’s relatives after the Hurricane ![]()
Hey Gunilla, wheeeeee!
Oh, not too much hotlinking from google this time, ok guys?
…lol…u are wrong …sixpacks have evolved to me…in One Pack…
:bounce:
@ Gunilla …hi nutty ! :bounce:
@ Rickmeister …the best way to understand Bonanza is …u posting some pics of u here…and wait …about 10 secs…
…While you KNOW there are artists with their wacom pens at the ready to photoshop it at the slightest provocation!
I can use smiles today as well, a long day and an even longer couple of weeks ahead of me. (Can anyone say ‘exams’? How about ‘pharmaceutics exams’?)
I propose everyone posts their own pic so we can all see how everyone looks now.
I think its more than worth a shot to see some action here…

or

Well… what are we waiting for? I’ve made it too easy  Now lets get this thing started
And if I find the time tomorow i’ll check some of the Bonanza posts
Edit: ehh… the 10 seconds are over… anyone? … Dammid! I got pwned…
Poor Rick fell for the trap
Now we know how you look like, heheheh…
Anyway, only pretty people should post a pic. We need material to work with…

Dimi, whahaha! One pack…
Where’s that Sergio dude?
Anton, maybe I’ll buy one of those mattpainting books ![]()
…which I just may take you up on. It’s a very tempting offer. I’m waiting for my new credit card to arrive in the mail, so…
Rick, where are these photos taken?
I knew IT! I’m feeling like a blonde… ;)
Anyway… the top picture is taken somewhere between San Diego and Yuma
The second is taken on top of the Empire State building.
I haven’t changed too much, still as white as ever. This is right after the roof rafters went up so it was cause for a photo.

And don’t worry, I’m not crazed. A whole day of screwin’ will do that to you. Screwing screws that is, not whatever you filthy people where thinking.
Edit:
And BTW this is not the picture I was warning you about, that’s still to come.
Is it just me or does Wyatt (the y-cat) look like a tamer version of Leonidas?!
‘Tonight, we dine in the treehouse!’
Did someone mention Bonanza ???
Wow, there’s still some people from the old Bonanza days here. Would love to go back in time to re-live it. We had so much fun with Wyatt, Theresa, Marlon, Dimi, Rebecca, Linda and a lot of others I probably forgot. It was so much fun. I spend more time on the forum then doing CG
I feel somewhat privileged to have been there when it all started. It’s gone however, which is kind of sad, but that’s the way of things.
Like many others round here, I went away after some time to do other stuff. I’m spend most of my time with Photography now. Don’t know if it will last though. When I do visit this place I can’t help but still being amazed at some of the stuff that’s being created.
Now I’m feeling all melancholy…
Hmmm
AND NOW SOMETHING FOR YOUR EDUCATION
…taken from wikipedia…

" A [b]screw[/b] is a shaft with a [helical](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helix) groove or [thread](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screw_thread) formed on its surface and provision at one end to turn the screw. Its main uses are as a threaded [fastener](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fastener) used to hold objects together, and as a [simple machine](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simple_machine) used to translate [torque](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torque) into linear force. It can also be defined as an [inclined plane](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inclined_plane) wrapped around a shaft. "

Filthy minds u say?..ok…present coming…

whhahaaaaaa…
Hi Richard …how is lovely Netherlands guys ? …i miss it so much.
Hey hey, good to see you Richard! You’re the first person I ever talked with much on good 'ole CGTalk.
So is photography your career now, did you free yourself from the shackles of IT? Alas I’m still a computer guy, though I’ve picked up some good stories in the meantime.
thx dude, how you been!
Photography eh? Show us some sweets man.
Wyatt, you know they have these mechanical screwdrivers nowadays. They even have cordless ones

Things are just fine over here in Dutch-town
Well, Photography has not turned into a career yet. I haven’t gone down that path yet, so I’m still in IT to put food on the table and I probably will be for some time to come. I still enjoy it.
I guess the main reason to slow down on the CG side was to get out more. I was stuck at the screen for too long, and going out to take pictures helps me to free up some creativity. I even think it might help on the CG side too. Not sure how yet, but I feel this urge to get back in the old saddle again, only this time with more ammo.
Damn, this is so cool to talk to someone from the old days. We should really try to get some more people back in here for a reunion or something.
I’m browsing the old-thead and boy does it bring back some memories
