Is it possible to attach a bone to a UV Map?

Hi,

In XSI (6) is it possible to fix a bone’s position and alignment (via normals) to the geometry of a cluster of polys that have a UV Map? Then animate the U and V to slide the bone around along the surface of the geometry?

You can do a surface constraint onto a Nurbs surface . Other than that I believe you can do it via scripting.
